Sunny (then known as Sunshine) arrived at Fleecehaven in April 2015. Only 8 weeks old he’d already endured a miraculous journey.
He had originally been destined for the freezer but his front legs were deformed and he had great difficulty walking.
The farmer’s attempts to ‘get him good’ failed and he decided to shoot him but thankfully a neighbour said she would take him on and give him a chance.
His rescuer contacted Fleecehaven to ask for advice, which ultimately led to him joining the Fleecehaven flock.
Sunny has made a miraculous recovery and now enjoys roaming the fields with his new friends.
Your adoption pack includes:

- Your sheep’s biography, with more photos.
- You will be enrolled as a member of our charity and be free to visit Fleecehaven to visit your sheep and the rest of the Fleecehaven flock.
- Free postage of your adoption pack (additional charge of £5.00 for packs delivered outside the UK).
- Fleecehaven is entirely run by volunteers; no salaries are paid so your money goes directly to looking after Fleecehaven’s animals. How good is that!

Your adoption can be set to start at a specific date, such as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas and we can include a message, such as birthday greetings on your certificate.
Please note that it can take up to two weeks to process your adoption pack so if you’d like your adoption got a special day then please try to allow us sufficient time.
