Martha, a Jacob cross, joined Fleecehaven in 2011, one of eleven sheep that came to us from the Farm Animal & Bird Sanctuary Trust (FABST) in Bromsgrove.
Martha and her friends had initially been rescued when a Warwickshire farmer was banned from keeping sheep.
Martha and her friends have remained together as close group and are never far away from one another. When they first joined us they were totally wild and although they are still quite jumpy, they have now calmed down considerably.
Martha in particular has become increasingly friendly and will sometimes tentatively approach us for a biscuit, with digestives being her favourite!
Your adoption pack includes:

- A copy our our latest newsletter and the option to subscribe to further newsletters
- Your sheep’s biography, with more photos.
- You will be enrolled as a member of our charity and be free to visit Fleecehaven to visit your sheep and the rest of the Fleecehaven flock.
- Free postage of your adoption pack (additional charge of £5.00 for packs delivered outside the UK).
- Fleecehaven is entirely run by volunteers; no salaries are paid so your money goes directly to looking after Fleecehaven’s animals. How good is that!

Your adoption can be set to start at a specific date, such as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas and we can include a message, such as birthday greetings on your certificate.
Please note that it can take up to two weeks to process your adoption pack so if you’d like your adoption got a special day then please try to allow us sufficient time.
