When Patch was brought to Fleecehaven he was unable to stand up, his eyes had sunken in and he was riddled with parasites, including ticks. He was admitted to the veterinary hospital where he was immediately placed on a drip due to life-threatening dehydration.

When Patch was brought to Fleecehaven he was unable to stand up, his eyes had sunken in and he was riddled with parasites, including ticks. He was admitted to the veterinary hospital where he was immediately placed on a drip due to life-threatening dehydration.
On moved back to Fleecehaven he remained very fragile and initially lived in the house, snuggling up with our dogs but a few weeks later he was re-admitted to veterinary hospital with further complications.
Eventually over the course of the summer, Patch steadily put on weight and gained in strength and, although we can never take anything for granted, we hope that he has now turned a corner and can look forward to a long and happy life at Fleecehaven.
